The Colorado chapter of Black Key Bulls Cycling was founded in the fall of 2009 by John Baker, who was also a member of the Ball State University chapter of Black Key Bulls Cycling from 1993-1995. The underlying fundamentals of Black Key Bulls Cycling left an indelible mark on John, and after discussing with Dave Choinacky, who was the impetus of the resurrection of Black Key Bulls Cycling at Ball State, a decision was made to begin a new chapter of Black Key Bulls Cycling in Colorado.
The underlying fundamentals of Black Key Bulls Cycling are as follows:
Dedication to sport
Camaraderie
Advocating for cycling
Personal commitment
Personal growth
Black Key Bulls are a dedicated group of athletes who share a commitment to cycling, advocating for the sport, making a commitment to ourselves & in turn, experiencing personal growth.
Black Key Bulls Cycling are always looking to recruit new riders, regardless of age, ability, or category. We do not have a requirement for team riders to race "x" number of races, or have astronomical team dues. We prefer to leave the decision to the riders to determine their level of commitment to the sport and to the team, with the knowledge that team members will be there to support them, whatever their choice may be.
Black Key Bulls Cycling Team members are active in the cycling community, have regularly scheduled team rides, and are active in the racing community as well.
Join us, and be proud to be part of a legacy, rich in tradition & excellence. |
